Summary
As a 310T Mechanic, you will be a vital part of our team, utilizing your Class A License and extensive mechanic experience to ensure the maintenance and repair of our vehicles. Your core skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs will be essential in keeping our fleet running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Able to certify trucks
- Able to repair our equipment – such as our diesel trucks, our pick-up fleet, bobcats, loaders, Kubota
- Knowledge of heavy (OFF ROAD) machinery maintenance: bobcats, excavators, loaders, etc
- Disassemble/overhaul of engines or engine components, transmissions, clutches and other assemblies
- The diagnosis of equipment problems; identifying and replacing, as required, worn or broken parts, making all necessary adjustments and alignments
- Providing effective and reliable maintenance for our trucks
- Complete all tasks assigned and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work
- Able to execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and comply with all safety regulations
- Apply preventative maintenance to keep our equipment running
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed 310T mechanic
- Able to diagnose equipment problems described above and certify our trucks
- Able to work alone in our designated shop and be a team player
- Takes ownership over all repairs needed
- Able to work under pressure and be efficient
- Ability to be organized
- Be professional, courteous with a time sensitive attitude
- Knowledgeable with all mechanic’s tools
- Valid DZ or AZ License preferred, G License required
- Able to work overtime as required to meet deadlines and achieve company goals
